The Florence Pops Orchestra is renowned for crafting concerts that breathe life into beloved animated classics, evoking the magic of childhood memories. Their brilliant arrangements transport audiences to a realm of nostalgia, where each note ignites memories of youthful wonder. With performances that have captivated esteemed figures in both American and Japanese animation.

Founded and conducted by Carlo Chiarotti in 2014, the orchestra originated from a 16-member ensemble known as “Generazione Alabarda Spaziale.” Their renditions of cartoon theme songs at the “NEMOLAND” event, organized by the Nemo Academy, celebrated animation legends through thematic concerts.

The Florence Pops Orchestra, led by composer Carlo Chiarotti, today consists of 35 professional musicians and 4 voices, expanding to an ensemble of 45 with the rhythm section. In May 2023, they took center stage at the inaugural event of the Sharjah Animation Conference, captivating both the audience and guests with an unforgettable performance and again in 2024 at the Sharjah Animation Conference’s inauguration and closing ceremony, adding another concert on the third day of the event based on audience requests the year before.

Their success continued as they performed in the United Arab Emirates, receiving widespread acclaim and an enthusiastic audience. Their exceptional performance again at Sharjah Animation Conference 2024 was a highlight of the conference, and they have already been invited to return next year.
